Viral Infection (Disease)

Viral Infection

Viral infection (disease) is a communicable disease caused by the causative viruses that can live in the human body and multiply. It mainly includes systemic toxic symptoms and local symptoms. The former present fever, headache, systemic discomfort and so on, while the latter are caused by the host’s invaded tissues and organs leading to inflammation and damage.

It is common for human beings to have viral infections. Almost all adults have been infected with the Herpes Simplex Type I Virus, as well as other viral infections in the upper respiratory tract.

Types of viral Infection

Most viral infections in the human body are silent infection. This means that a specific antibody can be produced without presenting any symptoms when the human body is infected by viruses. Only a few viral infections show apparent infection where symptoms can be seen. In apparent infections, most infections show an acute infection; an acute occurrence, a short course of disease that can recover by itself in 1 to 2 week(s), while a few are latent infections (for example, the herpes viral infection) and some are chronic infection (for example, the viral hepatitis B infection).

When the organism has a strong immunity, the quantity of pathogenic bacteria is less, and toxicity is weak, it becomes a silent infection without obvious symptoms. When the interaction between the pathogenic bacteria and the body’s immunity maintains a balance, the pathogenic bacteria tend to hide in the lesion area, becoming a latent infection. When the organism has weak immunity, a large quantity of pathogenic bacteria invades, and toxicity is strong and it becomes an apparent infection with obvious symptoms.

Viral Infection Hazards

Some Some viruses like Cytomegalovirus and Rubella virus can infect a fetus through the placenta and cause congenital infection, a dead fetus, abortion, premature delivery, and congenital malformation. Most of research proves that some viral infections have a relationship with the occurrence of tumors, for example, nasopharyngeal carcinoma has a relationship with the EB virus, primary liver cancer with the viral infection Hepatitis B, and cervical cancer with the herpes simplex virus. Currently, there is evidence that indicates a close relation between some chronic diseases and viral infection, such as diabetes type II, some cardiac diseases, etc. Viral infection can be transmitted through the respiratory tract, digestive tract, mucosa of the skin, genital and urinary organs, and placenta.

Some types of viruses can cause prostate diseases, genitourinary infection, cause the prostatic specific antigen (PSA) levels to rise and may have a close relationship with prostate cancer, such as the human papilloma virus (HPV), Cytomegalovirus (CMV), Coxsackie Virus (CSV),  Adenovirus and Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV),etc. Viruses can weaken the body’s immunity, and easily lead to other pathogenic infection. Some viruses can damage the urogenital organs directly, and may result in cancer.

Viral Infection Tests

A Virus can cause an immunoreaction after infecting the human body where a corresponding specific antibody against the virus would be produced. Viral antibodies mainly include IgG, IgM, and IgA. IgM would form at an early stage of viral infection which can gradually decrease and disappear after a period of 3 to 6 months. IgG appears at a later time and can last for a long period, or even for life. IgA is a secretory antibody which is secreted by mucosa and exists on the surface of the mucosa. In a clinical experiment, viral infection disease can be diagnosed by testing these antibodies.

An affiliated hospital of the Xiangya Medical School in Changsha can carry out a full set of virus tests which can check more than a dozen viruses at a time. We suggest you should do a full set of virus tests at this Hospital before going to the Xiangtan 3D Clinic. You can also go to this hospital to do other necessary examinations out of the clinic. Such examinations may include Transrectal Ultrasound(TRUS), liver function, kidney function, HIV, and Hepatitis A, B and C, etc. and the total amount of these examination costs in this hospital is about $200.

If you want to do this full set of virus tests and examinations out of the Clinic, the translator at the Clinic will help you to arrange them. After leaving the airport, you will stop at this hospital during their Clinical hours and have these tests and examinations done, and then you can continue on to Xiangtan. The Clinic will obtain the results from the hospital the next day. But if you cannot manage to be at this hospital during their Clinical hours, then you will need to stay in Changsha for one night, then proceed to the hospital to for these tests and examinations and then carry on to Xiangtan. The results will then be available on the third day.

Please note: this is a public hospital which is closed on Saturday and Sunday. If you arrive in Changsha on a weekend, you will need to go to the Xiangtan Clinic for testing and then on the Monday the Clinic’s translator will take you to do these tests and examinations in this hospital.

3D Treatment for Viral infection

At present, viral infection (disease) lacks specific treatment. 3D Urology Clinics have invented a treatment process which is like a cocktail therapy. This treatment is effective against common viral infection diseases including latent infection, apparent infection, silent infection and chronic infection. If a virus is detected in the full set of lab. tests, we will recommend that the patient receives 15-20 days’ antiviral treatment. The patient will have an intravenous drip once a day which takes about two hours a day. This treatment can make the IgM antibody, or even IgG antibody of the virus turn to negative, ensuring this virus would not do harm to the patient’s immunity again. Our effective rate in treating these viruses is over 90%.
